Reduced skill points by around ~50, -1 Int, - 35 HP. Removed 7th level casting. Is this too powerful for a CR 12? I don't want this to overwelm.

 

Broodax Spawn Scout 

 

Plant Eggs

 The Broodax may plant eggs in a person's stumouch. A DC 18 grapple check is required to resist. The eggs do not do any damage immediatly, but

the eggs hatch after 3D2 months, and after that point do 1 point of constution damage every day. To remove the egg requires a DC 35 heal check (With a lab DC is reduced by 3). Once hatched, the DC is increased by 5.

 

After the person dies, the Broodax takes control and the person seems to be living and breathing as normal. This works the same as a disguise self attempt with 10 ranksl.

 

 A creature slain by the Broodax may be worn like a skin or coat to look like the person. They are also able to mimic accuricly the voice of the person they are disuised as as well. is the same as a DC 15 disguise check. However, if someone even makes a joking refrence ti a person not being who they are disguised as, they will vacate their disguise. (Broodax are not very smart.)

 

Guilible

A broodax acts as though always affected by a zone of truth spell. For example, if someone even makes a joking refrence ti a person not being who they are disguised as, they will vacate their disguise.

 

Hive Mind

 Thre Broodax are connected to a hive mind from their home plain through their queen who is called The singing star, The Zur of the sailing egg. They share concousness and knowledge between each other via a psycic link. This link is strong enough to work even on different plains.

 (NOTE: I'm not sure exactly the phsycics of this, or it needs to be exaplined further.)

Aura of Evil (Ex)

The power of a Broodax Stillspear’s aura of evil (see the detect evil spell) is equal to 3.

 

Detect Good (Sp)

At will, a Broodax Stillspear can use detect good as a spell-like ability, duplicating the effect of the detect good spell.

 
Poison Use

Blackguard Stillspear are skilled in the use of poison and never risk accidentally poisoning themselves when applying poison to a blade.

 

Unholy Blessing (Su)

A weapon weilded by A Stillspear counts as having the unholy weapon effect. is imbued with unholy power. This power makes the weapon evil-aligned and thus bypasses the corresponding damage reduction. It deals an extra 2d6 points of damage against all of good alignment.  Bows, crossbows, and slings so crafted bestow the unholy power upon their ammunition.

 

Darkwine (Item)

 Each Stillspear has on them one vial of a magic embued strong wine made with blood. Drinking it imbues the drinker with a level 3 rage and level 1 remove fear effects. Potion is worth 500gp.

 

Broodax Queenmother

The formian queen cannot move. With her telepathic abilities, though, she can send instructions to and get reports from any formian within her range.

 

The queen casts arcane spells as a 12th-level sorcerer.

Typical Sorcerer Spells Known (6/8/7/7/7/6/5/4, base save DC 15 + spell level),

0—acid splash, daze, detect magicmage hand, resistance, touch of fatigue; 1st—comprehend languages, identify, mage armor, magic missile, shield; 2nd— hypnotic pattern, shatter, protection from arrows, resist energy, scorching ray; 3rd—Protection  from energy, heroism, nondetection, slow; 4th— confusion, detect scrying, black tentacles, scrying; 5th—cone of cold, dismissal, teleport, wall of force; 6th—analyze dweomer, geas/quest, repulsion

 

Spell-Like Abilities

At will—calm emotions (DC 17), charm monster (DC 19), clairaudience/clairvoyance, detect law, detect thoughts, word of Chaos (DC 22), divination, hold monster (DC 20), magic circle against law, Choas Hammer (DC 19), shield of law (DC 23), true seeing. Caster level 12th. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

 

Telepathy (Su)

The queen can communicate telepathically with any intelligent creature within 50 miles whose presence she is aware of.
